Nex Coast Productions and da Jam 98.3 presented up N up 2 “Operation Fire at Will” on Saturday, June 13 at the War Memorial Gym on Maui. A packed crowd of about 2,500 witnessed Brandon Visher (ranked #2) defeat Ed Newalu (ranked #1) in the first round of the main event by TKO. Also, Maui’s Lolohea Mahe defeated Palmer Fuga and Eddie P. defeated Dominic Ahnee in an all out bloody war that had to go to a third round because of a draw.

Brandon Wolff will take on Yoshiyuki Yoshida tomorrow at UFC 98 in Las Vegas. Both fighters are coming off brutal losses last December at the “UFC Fight For The Troops” event in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Yoshida was knocked unconcious on his feet then dropped again by Josh Koscheck, while Wolff was left with a huge swell on his head as the recipient of Ben Saunders’ devastating knees from the clinch.

The inaugural Kingdom MMA fight event took place on Saturday, April 18 at the Neal Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawai’i. The fights began at 7:30 p.m. The majority of the fights were amateur bouts and Hawai’i MMA fans were treated to the talents of many up-and-coming fighters. Jay Thompson’s inaugural fight event will take place Saturday, April 18 at the Neal Blaisdell Arena at 7:30 p.m. Hawaii fans are gearing up for an exciting match up between MTV’s “Bully Beatdown” host Jason “Mayhem” Miller and the current ICON Middleweight Champion Kala Kolohe Hose. The two fighters shared their thoughts about the anticipated fight at the press conference.
